Hey Kids! Thanks for coming back to check on my site! That’s awesome!!! I’ve been hard at work getting new content out there and getting this portfolio a whole new look and feel. Lot’s more to come, but while you’re here, why not check out my new video featuring The Amoebas :: No Emotion…

HIT THE DECKS…
The RGB was asked to paint a live mural at Rosa Parks Circle, on Saturday July 10th, 2010. We built a 6′ x 4′ rotating cube, which we then painted over the course of a day at the GREMM (Grand Rapids Electronic Music Movement) hosted by Lime Green Shirt Productions. Great fun, as usual, and a big shout out to DJ Sylock, for allowing us to come down and do what we love to do. Also, I got featured in the Grand Rapids Press for the event! How cool is that? Check out the article here!

THE AMOEBAS…
I had the good fortune to ride along with my friend’s band The Amoebas, to shoot some video during a few of their concerts. I decided to take that footage I had, and make it into a music video, for their single No Emotion, on Gimme Gimme Records. Be sure to check out their MySpace Page and to see them if they happen to come to a city near you!
CLEMENTE SKATE PARK…
George Eberhardt, Ryan Weiss, Scott Wygmans, and I agreed to paint at a live event to promote a new skate park going up in Grand Rapids. Chris Grey, art director at Premier Skateshop, asked us to come down and paint a skateboard deck, to be auctioned off online at Premier’s site. ALL THE PROCEEDS GO TO THE SKATE PARK! Grand Rapids could really use an awesome skate park. Donate if you can! Give the kids a place to skate!

SELF SKETCH…
Hey kids! Just messin’ around in Photoshop, having fun drawing a self portrait. Just something I like to do from time to time to keep the old skills sharp. ^_^

LOGO DESIGN…
I did these as a challenge during the interview process for a company Indezyn, to see if I could work quickly, and effectively. I had an hour to an hour and a half to design a logo for a company. This is the logo I was able to come up with in that amount of time. Cheers!

MILTON THE TOASTER…
I’ve been waiting for this site to go live for a little while now, so I could post this one. I was asked to redesign an old mascot for the new Pop-Tarts.com website. Milton the toaster used to be the face of Pop-Tarts, until the mid ’70s, and for the new site we decided to give him new life. This was an amazingly fun project to do. I also, did all the Flash interactivity on the 3-D box, which was later loaded in using papervision.
